We are passionate about Jesus’ Church.
Why “Gospel Ramblings?”
The Bible calls us to meditate (or “murmur”) on the Scriptures throughout the day. The apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:2, “For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” Therefore, we believe that the gospel (if understood correctly and embraced) affects our daily lives. As we meditate on the gospel, write about it and murmur to ourselves about the truth of God, we are changed in greater ways. That said, some people might think we’re merely “rambling on-and-on” because we just can’t stop talking about the glorious gospel. That is why we say “ramblings.” We recognize what many people feel or think about the gospel, but we hope to reveal that the gospel isn’t really a ramble after all. We know that the world around us (or maybe even other professing Christians) thinks we are just writing aimlessly and excessively on this blog, but we believe you can’t meditate too much on the gospel. We believe the real gospel affects real life and leads us straight to the throne of our infinitely wondrous God. We hope people see this clearly from the posts. All-in-all, we desire that these “ramblings” encourage you.—Gospel Ramblings (Previous website).
Because the Gospel affects every part of our lives, some of our posts may be more “pastoral” and some others may just be a brief thought. Whatever we write, we hope it will serve as an encouragement to you.
